Zoya Matte Velvet |Holiday 2015

Hello!
It has been a little while since I last did an actual post. Today I have swatches of the Zoya Matte Velvet for the winter/holiday 2015.
I'll be honest and say that I thought this collection was the same as last year's, I was wrong.
These are six new shades, although three of them can look very similar to three of last year's collection.

Please note that these matte polishes are not to be worn with a base coat, or top coat and they don't last as long as traditional colors.

Let's jump right in...

First up is Iris, a deep amethyst with a fuchsia pearl fleck. Perfect coverage with two coats.
My bottle had an accident during its delivery and saved about half of it on another bottle, which is why this one looks different.

Sue, is a soft champagne gold with a multi hued oyster shell pearl fleck. Three thin coats.

Yves, a deep sapphire between indigo and royal blue. Two coats.
FYI: as it is with most blue nail polishes this one will stain. Just use whitening toothpaste and a brush after removing the nail polish, brush your nails and leave toothpaste for about three minutes, brush then rinse. It should all be gone!

Honor, a true emerald green (perfect for Christmas) such a beautiful color with two coats.

Amal, a gorgeous red with ruby red pearl fleck.

Last is Aspen, a sparkling artic white with micro diamond pearl effect. Perfectly visible in real life. My camera was playing tricks with this one, but you can definitely see it. Three thin coats.

Excellent formula and coverage for all these beauties. Some may require two coats others three, depending how much you apply on your first coat. To see the full matte velvet effect, the nail polish has to be completely dry.

These colors are available now at Zoya and retails for USD$10 each.
